Added

  • Character and Skill Development:

    • Created Character Sheet and characters for Warrior, Ranger, Wizard, and Slime.
    • Developed basic movement and AI scripts for these characters.
    • Created 4 skills for the Warrior, 3 for the Ranger, 1 for the Wizard, and 1 neutral skill—all skills functioning as intended.
    • Added Stamina and Mana bars to all characters and character sheets.
  • UI and Visual Updates:

    • Updated the Character Sheet to be displayed in the bottom left.
    • Added custom assets for Warrior, Ranger, Town Hall, Warriors Guild, Rangers Guild, and Slimes.
    • Improved and added building sprites for various structures.

    • Added RTS Camera Control and Global Autoload to streamline gameplay.

    • Integrated a Fog of War system for more strategic gameplay.
    • Implemented a resource system including Woodcutters Cabin, Peasant, Guard Tower, trees, and wood as a resource.
    • Added obstacle avoidance for workers and automatic summoning of workers for Woodcutters and Miners buildings.
  • Building System Overhaul:

    • Created and refined Woodcutter's Camp, Miner, Mine Shack, and improved sprite assets for buildings.
    • Reworked prices, increased health, and damage output for all units and buildings.

Changed

  • Character and Skill Adjustments:

    • Modified Heroic Strike to deal less damage, have a lower cooldown, and cost a small amount of stamina.
    • Adjusted Fireball to cause its own damage on top of the regular Magic Damage.
    • Changed Defense Up to cost half the stamina pool, increase armor by 4, and be available at level 1.
  • Building System Overhaul:

    • Split and later merged BaseBuilding into BaseGuildBuilding and BaseEconomyBuilding.
    • Removed and optimized all sprite scenes and scripts to better utilize resource management.
  • Combat and Exploration System Updates:

    • Modified combat detection to use Area2D for improved accuracy.
    • Adjusted melee attack range to ensure accurate targeting.
    • Enhanced combat systems for Warrior, Ranger, and Wizard classes.
    • Made sure trees do not spawn on buildings, spawners, or on top of each other.

Fixed

  • Known Issues Resolved:
    • Fixed PowerShot, PowerStrike, and Charge skills.
    • Addressed bugs where buildings would push players when placed.
    • Ensured that buildings not yet placed despawn if switched before placement.
    • Resolved fog issues not showing previously explored areas.

Known Bugs

  • Current Issues:
    • Slimes occasionally congregate at the bottom of the screen.
    • Slimes do not retaliate when attacked from a distance.
    • Combat is too fast, making battles less strategic.
    • Guard Towers do not deal enough damage.
    • The Town Hall currently lacks a menu and cannot be used.
