Added

  • Fog of War:

    • Added a fully functioning Fog of War system.
    • Modified the Fog of War system for increased efficiency.
  • Buildings:

    • Updated the Miner Shack to upgrade gather speed instead of hiring miners.
    • Created a new building, the Wizards Guild, along with its associated Wizard unit.
    • Upgraded sprites for Town Hall, Ranger's Guild, Warrior's Guild, Warrior, Ranger, and Peasant for improved visual clarity and detail.
    • Updated grass sprites for a more natural look.
    • Removed the torch from the Town Hall.
    • Removed wood as a resource from the game.
  • Gameplay Mechanics:

    • Added an XP bar to all characters for visual tracking of progress and leveling.
    • Increased the number of slimes spawning from 10 to 30.
    • Fixed melee attack range to ensure enemies are accurately targeted within range.
    • Ensured trees no longer spawn on buildings, spawners, or on top of each other.
  • Character Stats Enhancements:

    • Added a new stat: Charisma.
    • Introduced a comprehensive damage type classification using export groups for easier management and scaling.
  • Tamaneko Changes:

    • Changed the starting level of Tamaneko to level 1 (down from 5).
    • Decreased XP gain from all sources by over 80% to slow progression.
    • Increased the health of all buildings to 5000 for improved durability.
    • Slimes now drop gold when killed by the player.
  • Asset Management:

    • Cleaned up the assets folder for better project organization.
    • Moved the CheckDeath static function to GlobalClass.
    • Modified how peasants gather resources.

Changed

  • Adjusted costs for all buildings and units to balance gameplay.

Fixed

  • Building Placement Issues:
    • Fixed an issue where buildings would push players when being placed.
    • Fixed an issue where buildings not yet placed would despawn if you switched before placing them.
